| ALL ABOUT SHERRIE |
| |
| Sherrie Miller is still trying to figure out how weaving came to dominate her life and fill her house with looms and fiber. However it happened, she is glad it did. |
 |
Currently she is the program/workshop chairperson as well as the newsletter editor for the Jockey Hollow Weavers Guild in Mendham, NJ. The guild meets on the first Wednesday evening of the month from September through June and everyone is welcome. See their website for a list of programs and workshops at the Jockey Hollow Weavers Guild.

Sherrie's work has frequently appeared in Handwoven Magazine, and her recent article on weaving decorative holiday dog collars was published in the September/October 2006 issue. She is also a member of Daryl Lancaster's Fabric Forecast Swatch team and has had numerous garments showcased in Handwoven Magazine.
As a former art teacher in Summit, NJ, Sherrie enjoys teaching beginning weaving through classes in her private studio, otherwise known as her family room. This light-filled room with flowering plants and a large aquarium is a relaxing place to discover the joys of this timeless craft.
Her students learn to weave on Leclerc 4 harness "Voyageur" table looms, from Leclerc Looms, a Canadian company with a long history of producing beautiful looms and weaving equipment for use around the world. Sherrie is a dealer for Leclerc Looms and uses her 12 harness "Voyageur" to attend workshops and give weaving demonstrations.
